QA Engineer Manual

Description:

As a QA Manual Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our software is reliable, user-friendly, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will focus on hands-on testing, identifying potential issues, and helping deliver a seamless experience for end users. Your work will be key to maintaining high-quality software across all stages of development.

What will you do?

• Develop, document, and execute detailed manual test plans to verify software functionality and compliance.
• Conduct functional, regression, and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent performance across devices and browsers.
• Detect, report, and track defects, working closely with engineering and product teams to resolve issues.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) processes, documenting test cases, results, and discrepancies accurately.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to uphold software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing strategies for better efficiency and coverage.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to create and execute test cases, report issues, and perform thorough end-to-end testing.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality software delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in remote or distributed teams.
• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or similar) and familiarity with QMS is highly desirable.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with automated testing tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) to assist QA efforts.
• Experience with modern web applications (React, Node.js) or cloud-based systems (AWS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and integrating QA within development workflows.
