Description:
We are seeking an experienced backend developer with strong skills in C#.NET and SQL Server, capable of building scalable systems that process high-volume device and telemetry data. This role involves working with IoT and data coming from devices, sensors, and telematics sources, ensuring performance and reliability in real-time environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and support cloud-based applications that interact with connected devices.
What will you do?
- Design and develop backend services using C#.NET Core 6 or 7.
- Build and maintain REST APIs for the ingestion and delivery of IoT data.
- Create optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
- Integrate with IoT protocols such as MQTT or AMQP.
- Implement solutions that support real-time and time series data.
- Participate in architectural decision-making for cloud-based systems.
- Support production applications and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with product, hardware, and firmware teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.
Requirements:
- 7 or more years of experience with C#.NET development.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server including performance tuning and indexing.
- Hands on experience with IoT, telemetry or device integrated systems.
- Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2 or Lambda.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
- Experience handling high data volume environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI data warehousing.
- Experience working with AI APIs such as Azure, Anthropic or Google.
- Advanced English level for communication in global teams.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset and focus on clean, maintainable code.
Nice to have:
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Event Hub.
- NoSQL knowledge such as Cosmos or MongoDB.
- Experience with GPS, geospatial data or fleet related solutions.
- Docker or Kubernetes exposure.
